QuickBGG is an useful tool with the aim to check the huge database of boardgames http://www.boardgamegeek.com in a clean, fast and easy way.
Didn’t happened to you sometimes, that you’re in a boardgame / comicbook store where there aren’t enought signal to check the whole version of BoardGameGeek website in order to check the note or any info of a boardgame that you want to buy?
Just type the name of that game and check its statistics. Customize the speed of the search in settings section and if you feel that it isn’t enought information, you can go directly to the website page of that game.
You can customize the amount of data you’re going to download. If you only want to check the statistics, just download it without the cover. If you want to check the cover too, you can activate it in low or high quality. QuickBGG implements a own cache system too. If you have the cache enabled (by default) you haven’t to download the info of that game again.
At the moment it's only available in english...I'm planning to translate it into spanish. But step by step :)
